Jessy (Jessica) is a licensed speech-language pathologist and has a background in music therapy (MT-BC), neuroscience, and gerontology. She served as a co-founder and research advisor for Therapy Abroad, shaping program design, global vision, and educational mission.
Jessy’s clinical experience spans schools, acute care, home health, outpatient settings, and state residential hospitals. She also lived and worked abroad (notably in Thailand) for nearly six years. Her research focuses on applying neuroscience to speech-language therapy, dysphagia in neurodegenerative disease, and the intersection of music and communication in therapeutic contexts.
