Academic Director / Continuing Education

Dr. Kris Brock is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Idaho State University, where he teaches and leads research in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and neurogenic communication disorders.

At SLP Abroad, Dr. Brock serves as Academic Director / Continuing Education Lead, overseeing curriculum, CEU offerings, and alignment of academic standards across our global programs. Importantly, Dr. Brock has delivered programs, workshops, and training sessions in more than a dozen countries, contributing to the international reach and impact of our global communication initiatives.

He is also active in professional service, including past leadership roles in the Idaho Speech-Language Hearing community, and scholarly service in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
