SLP Abroad provides U.S. faculty with the chance to teach, mentor, and supervise students internationally, while supporting sustainable speech-language services in Belize.

Faculty Engagement Includes

Program Leadership: Teach courses such as Clinical Practicum, Language Disorders, and Phonetics in small, highly interactive classes.

Student Mentorship: Work closely with each student in both academic and clinical settings, providing guidance and supervision.

Collaborative Projects: Partner with Sacre Heart Junior College, Ministry of Education, local clinics, and Tropic Care to develop innovative clinical programs and community initiatives.

Impactful Clinical Oversight: Faculty supervise students in Belize’s only dedicated speech therapy clinic, collaborating with full-time local SLPs.
